※オーストラリアでは、医薬品、毒薬の分類制度があり、毒性スケジュール2、3、4、8は医薬品を指しています。

「Section 5 Transport」では、損傷や劣化からの保護に加え、業務手順を定め、契約車両・配送要員の信用性<trustworthiness>の保証等を求めています。
- 「Section 8 Cold chain medicines」には、以下のような要件があります。
- ・文書化された手順と監視。
- ・発送・準備：温度管理区域での包装、配送の適格な手配、適切なラベルの表示（たとえば、「冷蔵-凍結厳禁」等）、他の商品との識別管理。
- ・輸送中：温度範囲をモニターして確実に保つこと（たとえば、「冷蔵-凍結厳禁」では凍結を引き起こさないようにする）。
- ・受け入れ先：保管場所の温度管理。
オーストラリアは国土が広大、かつ厳しい気象条件があるため、輸送の管理を重要視している様子がうかがえます。
